Sire: Ed Echols Dam: Gin Squirt (TB)
Gin Echols was born in 1954. B.F. Phillips bought the mare, along with her sire, Ed Echols. Philips personally rode her to the 1965 and 1966 NCHA non-pro Championships. Her NCHA earnings totalled $14,926 and 122 Cutting Points earned, plus Superior Cutting title and ROM for Performing.
Gin Echols was once described, by Matlock Rose, her trainer, as "a really nice mare. She was kind of a Thoroghbred-lookin' mare who had a lot of speed and cow. A real Cow Horse."
Gin Echols also became a great broodmare, producing
